UAW settled their contract with Ford this week - the gains in the contract show once again that organized, fearless worker organizing is what gets the goods. 

House Republicans finally managed to elect a new speaker of the house. Introducing Mike Johnson, the anti-LGBTQ, election-denying, climate crisis-denying, right-wing Christian nationalist leader of the Republican-led House.

Also in Amazon news, a new report shows that more than 4 in 10 Amazon workers report being injured on the job, and about 80% of workers feel the stare of Big Brother, surveilling them at work.
