It’s December 21, 2016. Welcome back to Raging Chicken Radio’s Out d’Coup Podcast. Today on the show Kevin and Sean talk about PA’s right-wing Governor-in-waiting, State Senator Scott Wagner; books for the battle ahead; and, calls for building progressive media networks in PA.
State Senator Scott Wagner is the darling of the PA right-wing and the state’s homegrown Trump. He’s built himself a loyal caucus thanks to his deep pockets and his embrace of anti-worker, anti-immigrant, and anti-environment politics. Sean walk us through his recent article about Wagner’s proclamation that he has “big balls” as he destroys PA’s unemployment centers.
Kevin highlights two important books for progressive organizing in 2017: Jane McAlevey’s No Shortcuts: Organizing for Power in the New Guilded Age; and, Mark and Paul Engler’s co-written book, This is an Uprising: How Nonviolent Revolt is Shaping the Twenty-First Century.

Hello from Canada Would you agree that in the natural process: When a small group of people are trying to find consensus, suggestions and ideas are put forward by any one or more individuals in the group. Informal voting takes place. Based on that information more suggestions may emerge. This process is repeated until the highest level of satisfaction is achieved. Only then is the vote official. The free flow of unofficial voting is essential here. We would like to add that various vote reforms are attempts to supplement for our inability to provide,"The free flow of unofficial voting." As unlikely as it sounds, we have assemble a group of 52 members from throughout the world. We intend to create a platform for the natural process to take place. Please see our short introductory video, http://www.yourupinion.com/ We would love to discuss this further with you individually, or on your podcast. Thank you, on behalf of our 52 members, And myself, Brian Charlebois
